Judy Ann Wagnon, 68, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015.
Celebration of life services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with Dr. Howard K. Batson officiating. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.
Judy was born Nov. 8, 1946, in Tahlequah, Okla., to Freddy and Margie Nicholson. She moved to Brownfield as a child and graduated from Seminole High School in 1965. She worked at Phillips Petroleum for more than 30 years, retiring in the early 2000s.
Judy volunteered with Boy Scouts for more than 20 years and was a devoted member of First Baptist Church for more than 40 years.
In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting ceramics and was a talented quilt maker. She loved to celebrate the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas, and always enjoyed seeing Boy Scouts in their Halloween costumes.
Survivors include a son, Matthew Wagnon of Farmers Branch; her mother, Margie Elliot of Tuscon, Ariz.; her father, Freddy Ray Nicholson of Amarillo; a sister, LaDonnah Dutton and husband Don of Tuscon; and her beloved dogs, Buddy and Dutchess.
