_John Henry Clark was the seventh child born to William Alexander Clark and Annie Ethel (Mullinax). Odis Clark would often stand next to John's headstone in Clark Cemetery and tell his grandkids the story of how his baby brother died. Odis said John Henry was a sweet and good-natured little boy. He would hide under the bed until he heard someone coming. Then he would get into the bed and hide beneath the blanket and play peek-a-boo when ever someone came into the room. Odis said you could usually hear him giggle from the other room so you knew he was there. Odis would often speak of how his baby brother died from eating ice cream. He said there was nothing wrong with the ice cream. Just for some reason John Henry's body couldn't take it.
