Beulah Clark, 95, of Weatherford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Holland Lake Nursing Center in Weatherford.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Couts United Methodist Church in Weatherford, with Rev. Matt Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Clark Cemetery.
Beulah was born Sept. 10, 1919, in The Fox Community, Texas, to William Harwell and Mildred Wester. She married James Alvin Clark on March 10, 1944, and together had one daughter, Paula. Beulah was a long-time member of the Couts United Methodist Church in Weatherford. She enjoyed her church and participated in both the Mary-Martha and the Stewards for Christ Sunday School classes. She helped her husband manage and operate their dairy farm. She was active in the 4H and the Northside Consolidated Home Demonstration Club. She also enjoyed growing African Violets and fishing. Beulah cherished time spent with her family and friends most of all.
Beulah is survived by her daughter, Paula Clark and husband, George Pendergrass, of Weatherford; grandchildren, Wesley Pendergrass and wife, Lauren, and Lori Pendergrass; and by two great-grandchildren, Madeline Jane and Audrey Lee Pendergrass. She is also survived by many well-loved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Alvin Clark; and her siblings, Ruth Estel Latham, Harvey Wester and Lloyd Wester.
